Cars for Community has been going strong for 5 years!

Automotive dealerships from across Hastings & Prince Edward attended the big reveal at United Way Hastings & Prince Edward for Cars for Community fundraising Initiative announcing $35,039.35 was raised in support of the 2023 fundraising campaign.

“This has been the biggest reveal since this program started 5 years ago,” says Emilie Leneveu, Community Relations Coordinator at United Way Hastings & Prince Edward. “With nearly $150,000 in cumulative giving  since 2019, we are excited to have achieved a record-breaking total this year with the help of 25 participating dealerships.”

Between September 1st – November 30th, 25 participating dealerships across Hastings and Prince Edward counties joined together to support our community through the United Way HPE campaign, each committed to donating $10 per vehicle sold. 100% of proceeds will stay in our community to help fund local agencies and programs, here at home.
