United Way Hastings & Prince Edward Set to Celebrate the Community at the annual Achievement Breakfast
We invite you to join us as United Way Hastings & Prince Edward reveals the results of its 60th Anniversary Community Campaign of Local Love. This annual event recognizes a long time tradition of 60 years of United Way within the Belleville, Hastings and Prince Edward County area – Improving Lives Locally.
Fittingly, the event is scheduled for Valentine’s Day, Thursday February 14th, at 7:30 am (until 9:00 am), at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, at 407N Front St, Belleville. Breakfast will be available at $10.00 per person. Purchase Eventbrite ticket here.
“Achievement is designed to recognize the contributions of the many businesses, employees, agencies, and individuals who see fit to help those in the community who are struggling in difficult times. We will announce the final number for achievement, as we continue wrapping up the campaign in the upcoming weeks ahead.” Said Kathy Murphy, Executive Director.
Achievement is also a way to pay tribute to a number of milestones within workplace campaigns such as participation levels, most creative activities, and volunteer engagement as a few examples. A special guest speaker will be announced very soon, and there will be discussions on the future United Way model, as we continue to revitalize the traditional campaign model and introduce special affinity groups and activities. The goal is to move the community towards achieving success in the pillars of health, decreasing poverty, and helping kids while we use leading edge strategies to ensure our donors and the community at large understands and supports this important work.
