United Way Hastings & Prince Edward celebrates milestone in Annual Campaign.

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward is thrilled to announce that it has reached a significant milestone in its Annual Campaign, crossing the $500,000 mark. This is a major step towards the goal of raising $2,200,000 before the end of January 2024.

“This accomplishment is a testament to the compassion and generosity of our community. United, we are making a difference and improving lives.” says Dan McCullough, Assistant General Manager at MAGNA Autosystems, this year’s Campaign Cabinet Chair. “Since announcing the goal in September, United Way HPE has been actively engaging individuals, businesses and organizations to raise funds for critical programs and initiatives across our whole region.”

“United Way HPE is incredibly grateful to anyone that has contributed to this year’s campaign thus far and the funds raised through the annual campaign will be instrumental in supporting the dozens of organizations locally that are addressing the most pressing needs in our community,” explains Brandi Hodge, Executive Director, United Way Hastings & Prince Edward.

“It’s still too early to accurately predict the campaign end result but with continued support and dedication of the community, we are confident in our ability to achieve this ambitious target,” Hodge adds. “If someone in the community gave last year, we hope they’ll consider giving again. For new donors, any gift of $500 or more is eligible to be matched by the Maurice and Marilyn Rollins Foundation—significantly increasing the positive impact on the community,“  says Hodge. “ The count down is on,  14.5 weeks to go!”
