United Way Hastings & Prince Edward sets ambitious goal of $2.2 million to support community.
September 14, 2023United Way Hastings & Prince Edward is pleased to announce the start of the 2023 fundraising campaign with an ambitious goal of raising $2,200,000 to support vital programs and initiatives in our community.
Dan McCullough, Assistant General Manager at MAGNA Autosystems was introduced as this year’s Campaign Cabinet Chair. “It’s an honour to be asked as Campaign Chair, United Way HPE plays a crucial role in supporting our community, and I’m confident that our generous donors will rise to the occasion in this important campaign” says McCullough.
“United Way HPE has been a driving force for positive change in our community for 65 years this year” says Brandi Hodge, Executive Director, United Way Hastings & Prince Edward. “We are thankful that Dan and the incredible team of volunteer cabinet members are joining us to help raise as much as possible. Through funded agencies, workplace campaigns, special events, leadership and legacy giving or individual contributions, United Way HPE has been able to address critical needs and improve the lives of countless individuals and families.”

Guests heard stories of impact from Connor Dorey, newly appointed CAO of Hastings County and also shared the importance of the United Way campaign on the community.
The 2023 Cars for Community launched on September 1st with 25 dealerships across HPE registered and committed to donating $10 per vehicle sold until the end of November. The initiative is celebrating 5 straight years with more than $100,000 in cumulative giving raised since 2019.
