3rd Annual Cars for Community feels the Local Love
September 2, 2021The 2021 Cars for Community launched on September 1st with 22 dealerships across HPE registered to show their Local Love.
Until November 30th, participating dealerships from areas across Hastings and Prince Edward counties have joined together, with each committed to donating $10 per vehicle sold. 100% of proceeds will stay in our community supporting United Way HPE’s annual fundraising campaign, which in turn, funds local agencies and programs, here at home.
This year, customers are invited to fill out a ballot at participating dealerships for a chance to win a local shopping spree in time for the holidays. Grand Prize draw will take place Friday December 10th, 2021.
Since its inception in 2019, the annual Cars for Community initiative has raised a collective $52,310 for our community, thanks to the incredible generosity of our local automotive sector.
“Local dealerships in our area are once again demonstrating their commitment to this community,” says Brandi Hodge, Executive Director, United Way HPE. “Each year, the automotive sector steps-up in remarkable ways and we are tremendously thankful. Their outstanding support will help ensure agencies and programs receive the funding they rely upon this year.”
