Bay of Quinte All Candidates Debate

Wednesday, September 15, candidates for the federal Bay of Quinte Riding have been confirmed to speak and respond virtually to questions related to the topics of social justice, creating strong communities, and building a youth friendly future.

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward and Youth2Youth HPE have partnered to present this virtual All Candidates De-bate on Wednesday, September 15 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm to attend please use https://bit.ly/AllCandidatesBoQ or visit Home – United Way Hastings & Prince Edward (unitedwayhpe.ca)

Candidates will respond to questions on an equitable COVID-19 recovery, affordable housing, addiction and mental health, poverty reduction, commitment to reconciliation, and environmental sustainability. They will be invited to de-scribe how their parties will address challenges related to equity, how they will protect and advance human rights, and if they have strategies for issues which impact the ability of youth to look forward with hope.

Attendees will be able to provide additional questions which will be posed as time allows.
