Cars for Community – 25 Dealerships Helping Their Community

25 automotive dealerships from across Hastings and Prince Edward counties are coming together to support United Way Hastings & Prince Edward, this spring.
One week from today, the first-ever Cars for Community will launch April 1st, and will see car dealerships, big and small, contributing $10.00 from every unit sold until the end of June.

“Dealerships in our area are showcasing their dedication and commitment to our community; when we introduced this concept to local businesses, the uptake was incredible.” said Brandi Hodge, executive director, United Way HPE

“Within the first week 10 dealerships had signed-up and the week after that, 10 more. With 25 dealerships from Bancroft to Picton and everywhere in between, the overwhelming response goes to show just how committed our local automotive industry is to helping individuals and families; banding together to show their local love to the community where their families, their staff and their customers live and work.”

Money raised will stay 100% local and will fund programs and services to help build strong, healthy communities, right here at home.
