Building Right-Sized Infrastructure
Figure out what matters most, where to start, and how to make time to actually do it.
10:15AM – 11:45AM
Northumberland Room
Most people have a list of systems, plans and processes they know could be stronger. The harder questions are which ones matter most right now, and how to work on them when the day-to-day already takes everything you have.
In this practical workshop, Sara Roach Lewis will help participants look at the infrastructure supporting their organization: the plans, systems, practices, and shared knowledge that make the work easier, clearer and less dependent on individual people.
Using tools and templates developed through ED Academy, participants will assess their current infrastructure, choose one meaningful priority, and build a realistic plan for moving it forward.
The session will also explore how leaders protect space for strategic work while managing the organization’s daily demands. Participants will leave with a priority, a plan, and practical templates they can use rather than starting from scratch.
