United Way Hastings & Prince Edward Announces Opening of Application Process for Funding.

October 25, 2023

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward is excited to announce the official opening of the application process for funding.  This highly anticipated opportunity allows local organizations to apply for financial support to further their community projects and initiatives. The funding is possible because of the annual United Way HPE fundraising campaign; with a goal of $2.2 million announced in September, the organization will strive to raise as much as possible enabling the financial support of dozens of programs and services.

“Through this funding opportunity, United Way HPE aims to support projects that address critical community needs, promote social change and improve the lives of individuals and families,” says Brandi Hodge, Executive Director, United Way Hastings & Prince Edward. “We know the needs are rising and the landscape is changing rapidly – and our hope is that we will be in a position to help as many people in our community as possible by funding organizations that are meeting the most pressing needs,” encouraged Hodge.

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward has three priority areas; All that Kids Can Be, From Poverty to Possibility, and Strong Communities. They are inviting applications from charitable organizations who provide programs to residents of Hastings & Prince Edward within one or more of the three priority areas.
