United Way HPE at 85% of campaign goal heading into the Holidays

With a surge of support from Procter & Gamble announced earlier this week, and the contributions of hundreds of individuals, businesses, employees and foundations, United Way HPE is breaking for the holidays with just over $1.875M confirmed.

“We wanted to share some good news – the holidays are a time for appreciation and gratefulness,” says Brandi Hodge, United Way HPE Executive Director. “The enthusiasm and commitment displayed by individuals and organizations alike have been truly inspiring. We are pleased with where we are to date – we have a long way to go – but we are so grateful for the generosity of this community.”  

While organizers are feeling optimistic heading into all the season has to offer, it is important to note there is still much work to be done. With only 5 weeks left, the organization encourages everyone to continue their support and spread the word about the United Way campaign. Every contribution, no matter how much, can make a difference in the lives of people who call our community home.

The United Way HPE office will be open Dec 27 and 28 to greet donors who would like to make their contribution prior to the end of the calendar year.
