United Way HPE needs a Final Push to Achieve $2.2 Million Campaign Goal
January 9, 2024United Way Hastings & Prince Edward has announced a “Final Push” to help achieve its ambitious $2.2 million campaign goal. Since September, the campaign has garnered support from individuals, businesses, and organizations across the region, bringing them close to the $2.2M goal, but a “Final Push” is needed to reach the finish line.
With only a couple of weeks to go, United Way HPE is in the final stretch of the 2023 Campaign. Over the next two weeks United Way HPE team members and volunteers will be collecting in-person donations at pop-up “Give ‘n’ Go” locations in 6 different communities across Hastings & Prince Edward to help raise funds before the campaign officially closes on January 31st.
“This is truly a community effort! Every single dollar counts, and no contribution is too big or too small.” says Jennifer Smith, Director of Community Relations, United Way HPE. “We’re inviting everyone to stop by and see us at any of the pop-up Give ‘n’ Go locations, regardless of the size of donation they can make. We hope to see you there!”

“We are humbled by the support we have received thus far, as always our community is remarkably generous putting this year’s goal within reach – but we need a little push in order to get there,” said Brandi Hodge, Executive Director, United Way HPE.
In December, United Way HPE announced an unprecedented surge in funding requests, reflecting the immense need within our community. Applications for funding to our local United Way are at an all-time high, with $1,000,000 more in funding requests than United Way HPE had available to allocate last year.
Those able to support United Way Hastings & Prince Edward’s January “Final Push” can also donate online at http://www.unitedwayhpe.ca/donate, in-person at 55 Harriett Street in Belleville, or by contacting United Way HPE directly at 613-962-9531.
